Please support us by making a donation, subscribing to our mailing list or becoming a volunteer. Check out the options below.
We rely on donations to do our work and every single contribution makes a difference.
Largely volunteer led, the money we raise goes towards the cost of running our organisation which includes having stalls at conferences, holding social events to connect and support lesbian, gay and people and making films, creating leaflets and ads that put LGB rights front and centre. We respond to requests for help or information from people who contact us and conduct detailed research. We provide factual information to MPs, MSPs, MSs (Wales) and MLAs (NI) and campaign on issues like education, prisons, freedom of speech and the medicalisation of LGB youth. Of course, we highlight and tackle homophobia wherever we see it.
Your donation will help us to support more people, to change more minds, to shape more policies and to have more impact. All donations are very gratefully received and, a regular donation is especially welcome because it helps us to plan for the future.
Sign up to receive our newsletter and, as a Friend of LGB Alliance, you will receive all of our news first. In addition you will be offered great discounts on tickets to events such as our national conference as well as exclusive invitations to social events, online and in person. You’ll be part of a community of likeminded LGB people and you’ll have the opportunity to contribute to discussions about our campaigns, the support we offer and our future direction.
LGB Alliance is primarily volunteer run and that means there are lots of opportunities to contribute. You may have a special skill like public speaking, be an artist or photographer or have a particular area of knowledge you think could be useful. But if, like many of our volunteers, you’re simply enthusiastic about helping and can turn your hand to anything, we’ll get you working in an area that appeals to you most. You’ll have the chance to make new friends and be making a real difference for lesbian, gay and bisexual people.
