On November 9th and 10th For Women Scotland’s judicial review will be heard at the court of session in Edinburgh.
The judicial review focuses on the Scottish government’s recent guidance undermining the principle that “sex” means biological sex in the Equality Act. This principle has been established in law.
LGB Alliance has made a detailed submission in support of the judicial review, in which we provided numerous examples to show that any blurring of that definition harms the rights of LGB people, especially lesbians.
